The
Bennington Battle Monument

You can't miss the monument as you drive through town. The Monument
commemorates the Battle of Bennington in 1777 between the Colonial army
and a British and Hessian Force. You can take an elevator to the top of
the monument for a spectacular view of the countryside.

First Church

Old First Church is the he oldest church in Vermont.
The famous writer, Robert Frost, is buried in the cemetery next to the
