Please check before you visit
as many of the parks are only open seasonally. The parks offer camping,
cabins, swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, picnic areas, nature trails
and more depending on the individual park. Some services such as hot
showers may require payment. Many of the parks contain a lake.
If you are going to be camping, research the
parks carefully to find a park that matches your needs. Some parks are
more rustic with minimal sanitary facilities while others have more
modern facilities. For the State Parks, you
can reserve online if you contact them 15 days or more prior to your
stay. Otherwise, you need to call the park for reservations.
Note that there are fees required in order
to use the State Parks.
Please check the official state or federal
sites for up to date information. |
